I once made a guy almost choke on his sandwich while eating lunch when I said the bible was just a novel with multiple authors!! Actually had a Reich-Winger agree with me.
Kulkuri, Don't forget all of those books that were excluded from being in the Bible- what was in those books that caused them not to be inclded in the Bible? And, written by even more authors and then transcribed by perhaps thousands and thousands of scribes also. Is the Bible a novel or a historical document? I believe a case exists for it being both.
